Empower Foundation is a Mumbai based Non Government Organization (NGO) and a Not for Profit organization registered in 2009 under Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950 and also empanelled with NITI Aayog (erstwhile Planning Commission), Government of India.
Empower Foundation has been working on various domains like Wildlife and Environment conservation, Youth development, Startup ecosystem and business upliftment and advisory and also Relief work for COVID19.
The efforts and work of the foundation across last decade are avidly covered by leading media like The Times of India, The Mid Day, The Hindustan Times, The Bombay Times, DNA, The Mumbai Mirror, The Sunday Guardian, The Outlook, Navbharat Times, The Global Post, The India Today etc.
Philosophy
Empower is a word which is self explanatory and a key catalyst to any change or betterment. There are innumerable examples in world where the mankind was empowered either with knowledge, technology, skills, confidence, power, support or motivation and their world changed.
Empower stands for an Establishment Motivated to Protect & Promote Oppressed life’s Welfare, Economic Freedom & Rights (EMPOWER).
The NGO is managed by various like minded professionals from various walks of life who are passionate about bringing in the change in the social fabric of the country.
Areas of Operation
The NGO primarily works around three broad areas viz.
(1) Environment and Wildlife Conservation
(2) Youth development
(3) Entrepreneurship development
The NGO operates various focused Chapters like IBAF (India Business Advisory Forum), YMF (Youthy Mentors Forum). Save our Leopards, Save our Lions, Save Aarey Forest etc.

COVID 19
Empower Foundation, under the directives of NITI Aayog, Government of India started working for #MigrantWorkers amidst the Corona Virus #Lockdown and has been able to reach out 1000+ migrants in 10 days (Till April 10, 2020) across Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Bengaluru, Surat, Solapur, Sangli, Amravati, Aurangabad to help them with food, ration and allied. The efforts still continue and the team is dedicated to support the needy throughout the pandemic
